![]() ![]() Aloth was also getting pissed off by Tekahu. I wanted to replace Aloth and have a team with only the new characters while still keeping some wizard spells. My team was Serafen, Tekahu, Xoti and Aloth when i got to her. ( Needs even more positioning babysit )įor practical reasons i went Geomancer with her. Her personal quest reward Arquaberus that does AoE in a line is cool too and equally buggy. This way you get extra minus reload time on the blunderbuss from dual wield AND the "Marksman" ability bonus since the max range for Blunder is 4.8m thanks to her Gunhawk subclass resulting to having that extra Acc when you usually shouldn't have with this weapon choice. I would recommend Blunderbuss+MeleeWeapon. ![]() You need a good Arquaberus no matter what. The necklace "Precognition" is a solid choice for her. ( Especially if you like using "Wild Call"(up) ability ) Secondary Stealth: To support Alchemy + Upgrading her chest bonus ( extra ranged deflection )Ĭonsider investing in Stride since she is kinda position dependable. ( And you can assume that it will hit with your kind Accuracy ) Primary Alchemy: Applying poison before fight and hitting that back row Mage and dying after 1 shot is too strong by its own rights. I wont go in depth for Abilities but I will say that you should consider Concussive Tranquilizer(Upgraded).Īs per active skills I totally recommend : Her Accuracy is unparalleled resulting in many Crits. Well if you ask me I would say 100% pure Ranger, so no Multiclass.Īll her passive and active Abilities for single target dps are too good for this role so you shouldn't maim her progression at all. However, I also prefer Geomancer for more versality (via spellbooks), more interesting to play imo. The alpha strike from stealth is far more devestating, and if you go for Edér fighter/rogue to apply flanked to all engaged (or flanked via spell), the damage output is so much better than the 10% she gains from Blightheart. Also, wizard Blightheart is a static +10% corrode damage from all attacks, so all the corrode wizard spells are that much stronger.Īnd she gets access to repulsive visage which is one of the stronger spells in the game, in terms of CC at least.įom a pure damage perspective scout is better. You lose the reload on her armor but gain the increased action speed which applies to reload, fire and recovery. If you want to micromanage her, going Wiz allows you to drop armor and trust in your buffs for defensives. Wizard is the better of the Blightheart versions that Maia can have access to, theres a bunch of buff spells that Maia gets access to from the wizard line along with Heart of Decay which further benefits Blightheart. In addition Obsidian Entertainment made a deal with Geek & Sundry's Dungeons & Dragons livestream show, Critical Role, of which Mercer is the host & Dungeon Master.Īs well as many characters in the game being voiced by the Critical Role cast, when creating characters & companions in the game, as free DLC, players can use the character portraits and voices of Critical Role's 1st campaign characters, the group Vox Machina, and one of Mercer's NPCs, Gilmore.Throwing my vote in for Geomancer. Voice actor Matthew Mercer returns to voice both companions he voiced in the first game, Aloth & Edér. There are seven recruitable story companions in Pillars of Eternity II, three returning from the previous game (Aloth, Edér & Pallegina) and four new. Edér Teylecg - Voiced by Matthew Mercer.Aloth Corfiser - Voiced by Matthew Mercer. The campaign successfully met its goal after 23 hours. ![]() On January 25, 2017, the crowdfunding campaign for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire was launched on fig with a funding goal of $1.1 million. ![]() The game builds upon the foundation of its predecessor's isometric realtime-with-pause tactical combat and choice-heavy dialogue, while adding more world reactivity, dynamic weather, enhanced AI, and NPC daily schedules that can influence quest progression. The game's story will pick up after the events of the first game, featuring the same player protagonist and a mix of new and returning NPCs. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is Obsidian Entertainment's sequel to their first crowdfunded game, Pillars of Eternity. ![]()
